Bibble 5 includes all the tools to you need to add, edit and view IPTC 4 XMP metadata as well as EXIF and other metadata.

Much of this metadata is also available in the Browse Panel so you can quickly find any image shot at a specific location, annotated by a specific person, or otherwise labeled with metadata.

Bibble 5 divides the metadata into several groups to make it easier to view and work with the metadata.  You may create as many additional groups of metadata as you like to display or edit just the information you want.

Viewing Metadata

Select the Metadata Tab from the Tools Panel, then choose which Metadata Group you want to view from the dropdown menu at the top of the Metadata tool.

Editing Metadata

All of the metadata fields shown in the Metadata tool are editable by simply clicking to the right of the heading you want to edit.  Many types of metadata are read-only, like EXIF information such as shutter speed or aperture.  Other metadata offers various ways to edit it, like a text box to enter a Caption, or a date & time editor.

Editing Metadata only affects the Active Version.

Managing Metadata Sets

Creating new Metadata Sets or editing existing Metadata Sets allows you to quickly view and edit only the metadata you care about.  Click 'Manage...' on the lower right of the Metadata tool to open the Metadata Manager.  The left column lists all Metadata entries available in Bibble 5.  The right column lists Metadata Sets and their current contents.
